  • Free Game Dev Mentorship … For Procedural Games…

Posted on June 29th, 2017 admin No comments

    Hi,

I’m offering another free mentorship. This one is focused for anyone that works on procedural or user-generated games…the mentorship would last 2 weeks. We would meet on Skype or e-mail daily and discuss any technical or design challenges you may have.

Preference will be given to students.

I am open to all genres. My only request is that the main focus of the game be non-violent.
To get a feel for how the mentorship would work, check out the podcast with some high school students that released their first game…that also got steam greenlit…with help from the mentorship… http://www.indiegamepod.com/?p=3330

Submissions are open until 11 pm eastern time, July 1st, 2017

If you are interested, e-mail support at indiegamepod dot com

    Hi folks,

I am thinking of new and interesting ways to contribute to the game dev community…I want to try some new stuff…and so I wanted to know what freebie you would like next…here are some ideas I have…

    1) A book on User-generated/Data-generated Games

    2) An open source project…to release code or some assets to benefit game developers…I’m open to suggestions here

    3) Another free mentorship

    4) Articles and tutorials on math in games

    5) Some other idea or suggestion you have

Let me know…I was thinking about experimenting with an open source project related to games…or maybe even an open source game to share with players.

Anyways…place your vote or suggestion below 🙂
