    The 2009 Game Developers Conference Austin (GDC Austin) will be hosting
    the Independent Games Summit and the
    all-new iPhone Games Summit. The Independent Games Summit will also be
    making a GDC Austin debut this year. The Independent Games Summit will
    feature lectures and postmortems from the developers of some of the most
    innovative and creative indie games. The iPhone Games Summit will bring
    together top game developers from around the world to share ideas and
    best practices for development on the bourgeoning iPhone and iPod touch
    mobile platform. The event will also host summits focused on writing
    for games and game audio. GDC Austin takes place at the AustinConvention
    Center in Austin, Texas September 15-18, 2009.
